The one who gave the six Senses of the Great Sage to the different bosses of the game was Erlang Shen , but he didn’t do that out of spite. He knew that one day, a monkey would rise and claim them back , gaining Wukong’s power little by lit

The True ending shows Wukong rising once again ; it might not be the same monkey, but it has his skills and memories and likely inherited his goals as well (the Destined One was more of a blank canvas anyway). This means that this isn’t the last we’ve seen of Wukong , making him possibly return in a future g

It’s also worth noting that the Mad Tiger is an optional boss and doesn’t impact story progression. If you find yourself having a difficult time defeating this adversary, you can always come back later when you’ve upgraded your stats and unlocked powerful skills .

The second location where you must use the Old Rattle-Drum is in the Windrest Hamlet of the Yellow Wind Formation . From the Windrest Hamlet Keeper's Shrine, head to the ruined village near the Windrest Hamlet Keeper’s Shrine, and once you’re past the large gate, turn left to find yourself in yet another gray, misty area that indicates using the Old Rattle-Drum .

To get the True ending, you’ll need to find the Grand Pagoda in Chapter 3 and complete a quest about finding Loong Scales. With that done, you’ll unlock a secret chapter, where you fight Erlang Shen as the Destined One , a fight that soon becomes a mighty brawl among titans and unlocks the Rock Monkey transformat

One of the more stressful aspects of combat in Black Myth: Wukong is having to manage your health in longer boss fights so The Destined One can stay alive longer than his adversaries. This is why having abilities and passives that automatically heal you can be the difference between a successful run or fail

As far as lore goes, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice will take you to Japan's Sengoku period, where you play Wolf, a shinobi whose duty is to protect his lord. Many of the creatures you'll face off against in Sekiro are inspired by yokai -- supernatural creatures and entities in Japanese mythology. There are also multiple locations in Sekiro that pay tribute to historic Japanese landmarks, like the Senpou Temple, based on the Kiyomizu-dera Buddhist temple in Kyoto.

The Loongscale set is perfect if you are facing any foes that inflict the Shock bane (which will increase the damage you take) since its buff will reduce the time you're suffering from the affliction, and it'll also boost the thunder damage you deal

Once you’re inside the village, look for an exit in the bordering walls to find yourself in yet another gray, misty area. Using the Old Rattle-Drum here results in the appearance of a child that invites the Destined One to jump into the well to meet an old friend — the friend, of course, is the Mad Tiger .

While some sets add some risk by having a potentially dangerous buff, some instead just reward using a slightly more unconventional playstyle. No set encapsulates this more than the Centipede Qiang-Jin Armor

Black Myth: Wukong takes place after Journey to the West , a 16th-century Chinese novel. In it, Wukong has redeemed himself from his past transgressions against the kingdom of heaven, but we see him once again being targeted by the heavenly arm

Following their completion of the fourth chapter in Black Myth: Wukong , players will obtain the Envious Tongue Relic. As it symbolizes the taste sense of Buddhism, Envious Tongue naturally extends the duration of all medicine effects, so having it in tandem with Hubris Noise is a match made in heaven. However, one of the Envious Tongue Relic's Great Sage Talents buffs an incredibly useful spell in Black Myth Wukong Yellow Loong Myth: Wukong , Immobilize, which just so happens to also be the first spell players learn in the game. For example, the Ochre set of armor only needs three pieces of the set to be equipped (leaving a spot free for a miscellaneous mask of your choice) to get it's buff, which adds extra damage reduction to your decoy from Cloud Step and any duplicates created by A Pluck of Ma

A lot of the sets of armor you'll unlock earlier on in Black Myth: Wukong will unfortunately be unviable the later you get into the game, with some sets just clearly improving upon them. However, once you unlock armor upgrading with Yin Tiger, you'll be able to make some of your mid-game armor last long into the late-g
