Arsox is a more challenging Pal to find. However, they are worth getting a hold of due to their secondary skill in kindling. You can also mount Arsox and ride them around. They will keep you warm in the colder climates, making them well worth a dex entry.

Reptyro is a more challenging Pal to find in the map and even more difficult to actually capture, but once you have one it's well worth putting them at your base or mounting them and riding them around if you'd like.
Wumpo is one of only four Pals with a Level 3 Lumbering skill, making it one of the best encounters of the game for this particular area.
