All great acting comes from life experience. Think back to a time when you had a pressing ailment; an intolerable migraine, the seasonal flu, stomach problems from a shameful trip to Arby's. Let these feelings flow through you like a Jedi turning to the dark side, like a stomach full of Arby's Smokehouse Brisket . Relive these feelings, allow them to reenter your psyche. Remember that pain is temporary and the victor's spoils are sweet. Take yourself to a place where you can use this suffering for your advantage. As the wise prophet George Costanza once noted, "It's not a life if you believe it." Believe in yourself and you can do no wrong.
Well, there you have it. You should be able to play Red Dead Redemption 2 in no time (and you still have time to order it from Amazon ). Of course, while you're staying home and enjoying yourself, keep the massively talented development team that made this game possible in mind. Without their hard work and labor, none of this would be possible. Follow these tips at your own discretion and please, for the love of God, don't email me if you get fired.
Besides completing the main quest, which can take upwards of 60 hours, players can expect to get sidetracked with other activities such as sword competitions, blacksmithing new weapons, gathering herbs and other plants for alchemy, competing against NPCs in Dice, and just exploring the vast world filled with characters that have their own personalities and daily lives. Not to be outdone by Microsoft, Sony made their huge announcement only four days after the Xbox 360 was revealed. It all went down at E3 2005 when Sony announced plans for their latest system, the PlayStation 3. During the conference, the console was shown with a boomerang controller which was later modified. There was no actual gameplay footage of its titles but pre-rendered videos of Final Fantasy VII and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. The prototype of the system was priced between $500 and $600 USD. More information and demos were revealed months later at the Tokyo Game Show. PlayStation 3 didn't launch for another year, but when it did, every single gamer automatically picked sides between the seventh generation console war.
Since players unlock side ops as they progress the main story, and since they offer such valuable rewards, this generally leads to the average player sidetracking to complete them. So, if you add up the time it takes to complete side ops while completing the main quest, then you're looking at an experience that takes over 100 hours. Additionally, the game features in-depth weapon customization and upgrading the Mother Base, which involves gathering the correct materials, adding even more time to the overall experience. Completionists should expect to spend 150 hours or more to do everyth
Playing in first-person means experiencing the world as it is happening because it's happening with only what can be seen wherever one may be looking. It’s easy to imagine the multiple scenarios that might be brought to life even more just from playing RDR2 in first-person. Horseback shootouts can have more feeling. Bar brawls will feel that true punch. Being chased down by whatever local law enforcement comprised of sheriff and deputy could feel palpably tense. While Rockstar has yet to show how first-person will function, hopefully they’ve taken some lessons out of their own book with GTAV. First-person has come a ways in games with titles such as Dishonored, Prey, Call of Duty and the like. While first-person might not be the main focus, Rockstar has an opportunity to appease players that will want to see through the eyes of Arthur Morgan.
Whether wanting to play in third-person as RDR2 is presented or taking the plunge and playing entirely in first-person, Red Dead Redemption 2 is sure to be fun. It just might be more fun playing entirely through the eyes of Arthur. Obviously, one is not better than the other, but having the opportunity to experience the West with ones’ own eyes on the ground level of it all, with the amount of detail Rockstar has put in is sure to be a wildly different experience.
