There are 22 Pals roaming Palworld that have Mining Work Suitability, ranging from Level 1 to Level 4. The higher the level, the faster and more efficient the Pal is at mining and building up a larger inventory of stone and ore. In the early game, it's perfectly reasonable to put the lower-tier Pals to work, but as the map continues to unlock, so too will the number of stronger Pals with better efficie
Unfortunately, that's about it for the Ice element. It's a crippling weakness to the all-so-powerful Fire element and the lack of strong Pals who have the type to keep Ice from greatness. You could still use the likes of Cryolinx and Frostallion in harder fights and hang in there. They're also good at keeping your food fresh thanks to their cooling capability, which is nice.
The members of this group of Pals are also incredibly strong. The likes of Chillet, Jetragon, Jormuntide, and Orserk are all devastating Pals in a fight. While they may be lacking in the Work Suitability area overall, Dragon Pals are so overwhelmingly powerful that it's a totally worthy trade-off.
palworld s-tier Companions features well over 100 Pals, only a relatively small portion of which can be turned into mounts. And an even smaller percentage of those can be used for flying around the Palpagos Islands. Eikthyrdeer may seem intimidating at first, and they do hit hard when attacked, but they can be an excellent source of wood gathering if players prepare for them. These deer-like Pals roam many regions early on and come in pairs, which requires players to take on both in battle at the same time. Water being higher than Electric in a ranking may seem weird at first, as it's directly weak to it. However, on top of having some absolutely incredible Pals in its roster, Water has a huge advantage: being strong against Fire. Some of the strongest Pals also just happen to be Water, including the likes of Surfent, Jormuntide, and Penking.
Ragnahawk, Kitsun, and Blazamut are only some of the amazing Fire Pals in the game. The element, in general, focuses on ultra offense, and these Pals possess some of the highest offensive stats in the whole game. Just like your furnace at the base, Fire Pals are the best at igniting your enemies.
