Recently, I was matched with someone whose name was a play on the coronavirus. Perhaps merely evidence of a juvenile sense of humor, it hits different when 23,000 people in your city have died of the vi

The Devotion has seemingly become the best light machine gun in the game overnight. All light machine guns suffer from the issue of extended reload times, but the Devotion makes up for that in several areas. For being such a large weapon it someone remains pretty accurate and has little recoil feedback when firing. Add this to the large numbers it packs in the damage department and there's no mystery why it has ascended to be one of the best weapons in the entire g

In the past few weeks, I've twice watched someone back out of a game because I chose the character they wanted to play. Both times, it was because my game defaulted to the character because I didn't make a selection. In one instance, I even apologized after noticing the other player had wanted to be the character I had chosen, but the player backed out anyway. It's important to note that in Apex Legends , selection order is randomized. In both cases, my name popped up first on the selection menu, meaning I had every right to choose whichever character I wanted to play. Regardless, backing out for something so mundane is problematic because my team is forced to play the game as a squad of two up against squads of three, which makes the game much more diffic

The R-301 Carbine has always been a safe and reliable choice in-game and Season 5 didn't change that. It's the one assault rifle that most players feel comfortable with thanks in large part to it having rather low kick when shot. When playing the best thing to do is work on fully kitting the gun while looking for an R-99. Having both will give you the flexibility in both mid-range and close-quarters combat, and if you feel the need to add a sniper, all of the R-301's attachments will transfer over to the R

Is it worth $10? Absolutely. The most recent battle pass included 6 new exclusive skins each with its own additional unlockable styles, and most have their own pickaxes and back bling, on top of a handful of emotes, loading screens, and player icons. If Fortnite does one thing right it is its cosmetics. The battle pass offers players a plethora of items to unlock that are each unique and worth the grind and the extra challenges extend the life of the game and give players a reason to hop back in every w

Puns are an interesting slice of comedy as they happen to be very divisive. Some people love puns, and others hate them. The Kraber's Season 5 skin is called Magma Might, which for Pokémon fans feels like a play on the electric magnet Pokémon's name, Magnemite. Magma Might is about what you'd expect from a skin with that name as it looks like images of magma pools grafted onto the weapon like a weird form of wallpaper. In the meta the Kraber is currently a Top 5 weapon, so you may be seeing a lot of Magma Might in your fut

Warzone's battle pass offers players 100 tiers of loot progression that lasts for Tactical shooter skills a limited amount of time and can be purchased for the all-too-familiar $10. While the W arzone experience is one of a kind, the battle pass leaves a lot to be desired. There are different operators available, but they aren't very unique visually, and the weapon blueprints all have that same standard Call of Duty feel, with only a few standing out from among the rest. However, the big selling point for the Warzone battle pass is that essentially players get their money back. The pass may cost 1,000 CP, but if the entire pass is completed the player will earn 1,300

The Mastiff has somehow made its way into the regular rotation of weapons, while at the same time retaining most of its incredible strength. It should come as no surprise that with it become more common in battle it has shot up the tier list of weapons in Season 5. Over time don't be surprised if it falls down the tier list as players figure out if its reduction in power hurts its overall usefulness. Either way, it was a bold but welcoming decision to make several of the care package weapons spawn in the overwo

Among all of the care package weapons, the Kraber is one of the ones that's still stuck to them and is a rare commodity. Most don't realize that this powerful sniper can down any legend in the game with a single headshot. This makes it an unstoppable weapon in the right hands, and to those who are most casual, it can be quite intimidating. The Kraber deals massive damage in general, so if you're not the type of player who excels at precise shots still take it upon yourself to get familiar with

Toxicity is nothing new in gaming. But I fail to understand why we should continue to allow this behavior to continue if there’s something we can do to mitigate it and reward those who don’t engage. I’ve had friends uninstall Apex Legends due to frustration with random squadma
