After the last pair of eyes is shown, Riven will move once more and return with the Taken material in her mouth. Shoot as much of it as possible, and she will take heavy damage. After she closes her mouth, Riven's outer shell will open again. All 10 eyes will be shown, but the six that were shown before have to be shot. If the wrong eye is shot then the team will wipe, and the encounter will start over (which is why it's best that one Guardian is only responsible for one eye). After all of her eyes are shot, Riven will retreat, and each player will have to return to the original plate that they started the encounter
Defeat all of the lesser taken enemies in the throne room, or as many as possible, before Riven shows up. She will once again use her tentacle and fire-breathing attacks, but using a weapon like the Null Composure Fusion Rifle will get her to stop quickly. Null Composure was the Seasonal Ritual Weapon for Destiny 2 's Season of the Splicer, and unfortunately, it can no longer be earned. This challenge requires 100 Fusion Rifle kills and 75 Sword kills. For the Fusion Rifle kills, use a Rapid-Fire Fusion Rifle. After shooting the correct circles, the Boss Team can return to the center area and await for Destiny 2 New Exotics 2 's Consecrated Mind to relocate to another hallway. They'll repeat the same process, only this time a new member has to pick up the Voltaic Overflow. As aforementioned, picking up the effect twice before it runs out will kill the teammate. Bottom Tree Sunbreaker: Middle Tree might have a refundable melee, but it can only kill one enemy at a time. Use Bottom Tree Sunbreaker with Elemental Well mods. Start this Last Wish raid encounter by dividing into two teams of three, and have one team travel left and the other right. Standing on the three glowing plates on each side will start the encounter, dropping all Guardians down past Riven. Follow the pathway through the respective side's door until two new chambers are reached. One of two things will happen in these chambers, either Riven will show her head, or Taken enemies will have to be defeated.
