The Conflux Team will have two objectives, the primary is to defend the Conflux while the secondary is to repair the arena. Every time a Vex sacrifices itself on a Conflux the Conflux will lose motes, even if the Conflux was previously full. If this happens, the team will not be able to make full use of the damage phase. It's best if the Conflux Team puts one member at each Conflux, and floats around to assist as need be with long-range capable weapons like Destiny 2 's Darkest Before Pulse Rifle . Additionally, a part of the arena will be destroyed every time the Sanctified Mind has a part shot off. When enough parts of the arena have been destroyed, both members of the Conflux team can regroup to form a quick tether and repaid that section. The fight against the Sanctified Mind takes place in a crescent-shaped arena. Floating over the lake of Vex milk is the Sanctified Mind, and the encounter will start once it is shot. This encounter will divide up the Fireteam into three groups of two at the start, but as the damage phase draws near those roles will evolve into individually designated zones. These three teams will be Portal Team One, Portal Team Two, and the Conflux Team. The beginning of the encounter starts with enemy clearing and avoiding fire from the Sanctified Mind. Follow the stairway inside the final structure of Prophecy to a triangular arena. Place a Raid Banner down to replenish all ammo and abilities, and seek Toland in the middle of the arena. Touching him begins the encounter, spawning Taken Psions, Knights, and three Taken Fallen Captains in each corner of the arena. In front of each Captain is a structure emitting energy. Defeat the Knight to get the need motes, deactivate the energy forcing the Captain out of protection, and defeat the Captain. After shooting the correct circles, the Boss Team can return to the center area and await for Destiny 2 's Consecrated Mind to relocate to another hallway. The Prophecy Dungeon is accessed in the Destiny 2 Tower. Upon launch, the dungeon begins aboard The Drifter's ship.
