For the team that has Riven spawn in first, dodge her tentacle swing and fire breathing attacks. While dodging, shoot the tentacle and the inside of her mouth to get her to flinch. Start this Last Wish raid encounter by dividing into two teams of three, and have one team travel left and the other right. Standing on the three glowing plates on each side will start the encounter, dropping all Guardians down past Riven. Follow the pathway through the respective side's door until two new chambers are reached. One of two things will happen in these chambers, either Riven will show her head, or Taken enemies will have to be defeated. The damage phase is when the Fireteam no longer has the three teams of two. Instead, everyone should have a given area that they're in to ensure the tether connects correctly. It's entirely possible for the tether to connect to the wrong people, or not even cause the oracle to explode. The Conflux Team will have two objectives, the primary is to defend the Conflux while the secondary is to repair the arena. Every time a Vex sacrifices itself on a Conflux the Conflux will lose motes, even if the Conflux was previously full. If this happens, the team will not be able to make full use of the damage phase. It's best if the Conflux Team puts one member at each Conflux, and floats around to assist as need be with long-range capable weapons like destiny 2 heretic Title 2 's Darkest Before Pulse Rifle . Additionally, a part of the arena will be destroyed every time the Sanctified Mind has a part shot off. When enough parts of the arena have been destroyed, both members of the Conflux team can regroup to form a quick tether and repaid that section.
